Caught in a very familiar part of the Project.
This one was caught below the bridge.
Once again, a very familiar spot for many anglers. I understand this area has been hammered during the past several weeks.
Ed, fishing here, had a nice golden bow on for about 10 minutes until it threw the hook.
And another evening rainbow. It's starting to get its natural colors.
And yes that fish was caught in the same hole.

Water was adequate but still low and not really ideal for trout. Still, the brookies seem to like it.
Runs like these always seem to produce...especially in the early morning and late evening...when I seldom fished.
I understand the trees felled across the stream for no apparent reason was done by TU and DCNR. Gotta stop paying dues to TU again.
But, I did catch a few. This is a healthy 6 incher.
Trees felled in this fashion don't seem to serve any purpose. Stream improvement time could have been better spent elsewhere.
Looks like tougher casting ahead up stream.
But, where I was still held a fish or two.
Here's a really nice one. What I found is that unlike previous visits to this area, today the flies had to be on the smaller side...say, 20 or 22.
Accurate casting to hit the best part of the run required a bit of accurate casting.
Good casts produce good fish. Unfortunately, a blurry picture.
This little run gave up a couple of fish.
